Pricing & Plans
Pricing is based on your team size, not how many members you serve. This keeps your costs predictable as you grow.
Your cost depends on:
- Plan type: Core Platform or Pro Platform.
- Team size: Number of staff users.
Special pricing for 5+ users — save over $3,000/year.
Annual plan pricing
- 1 user: From $99/month per user (Core) billed monthly, or $224/month per user (Pro), billed annually.
- 3–5 users: From $2,935/year (Core) or $4,435/year (Pro), billed annually.
- 6+ users: Additional users are sold in blocks of 5 seats for maximum value.
One-time setup fee
$1,500 — includes 15 hours of onboarding support (training + implementation) and onboarding wizards.
Optional one-time services
- Email Deliverability (DKIM): $250 — helps emails land in inboxes, not spam.
- Single Sign-On (SSO) setup: $250 per platform — connects your i4a login to other systems (OAuth 2.0).
What doesn't change your price
Member count, email volume, event registrations, or transaction volume. You can grow without paying more for the software.
Optional add-on subscriptions
- Premium Support: $150/month
- AI Tools (i4AI Studio): Seat-based pricing + usage fees
We do list our prices! Our pricing page shows the exact pricing structure for both Core Platform and Pro Platform based on the number of staff user accounts you need. Starting at $99/month for a single-seat Core Platform license, pricing is transparent and predictable.
The only variables are: (1) how many staff users need access to the admin interface, and (2) whether you choose Core Platform or Pro Platform.
There's a one-time $1,500 setup fee that covers everything you need to launch successfully:
- 15 hours of onboarding support — personalized training and implementation guidance
- Data import wizard & video tutorials — step-by-step tools to import your member data from Excel/CSV or common platforms
- Guided setup checklist — step-by-step roadmap to configure your platform and go live
- Training sessions — hands-on instruction for your team
How we compare: Most competitors charge $3,000-$5,000+ for setup and implementation, often with additional charges for data migration ($500-$2,000) and training ($1,000+). Our streamlined process gets you live in 60-90 days.
Custom data migrations: If you're migrating from a custom database or legacy system that requires extra work, we'll discuss that during your demo and provide a clear quote upfront. See complete pricing details
Core Platform includes everything most membership organizations need: unlimited members and contacts, membership management, event registration, online payments & eCommerce, website builder, email marketing, dashboards, resource library, committee management, CEU tracking, and more.
Pro Platform adds features to strengthen member retention and generate non-dues revenue: Online Store (product catalog & shopping cart), Member Community & Discussion Forums, Advanced Email Analytics & Automation, Survey & Feedback Tools, and Job Board.
Both plans include unlimited members, U.S.-based support team, and access to optional add-ons like i4AI productivity tools and submission management. Compare plans in detail
All plans require an annual contract. For 1-2 staff users, you're billed monthly. For 5+ staff users, you're billed annually upfront (with significant savings).
After your first year, you can cancel with 90-day notice. We don't lock you into multi-year commitments—we earn your business every year by delivering value, excellent support, and software that helps your organization succeed.
Your monthly subscription price is based on team size and plan level. We don't charge:
- Per-contact fees (unlimited members and contacts included)
- Transaction fees on membership dues or event registrations (standard gateway fees apply)
- Per-email fees for marketing campaigns
- Recurring setup or implementation fees

Custom data migrations: If you're migrating from a custom database or legacy system that requires extra work, we'll discuss that during your demo and provide a clear quote upfront.
Throughput usage: All plans include 5 GB of monthly data throughput. If you exceed this (typically only organizations with very high traffic or large file downloads), overage fees apply.
Optional add-ons are available at additional cost: Submission Management, i4AI productivity tools, and DKIM email deliverability setup ($250 one-time).
Switching to i4a
Most organizations are up and running within 60–90 days, though timelines vary based on your data complexity and customization needs.

Custom data migrations: If you're migrating from a custom database or legacy system that requires extra work, we'll discuss that during your demo and provide a clear quote upfront.
You'll use our guided import wizard to bring in data from spreadsheets, your old AMS, CRM, or any system that exports to CSV/Excel. Video tutorials guide you through mapping fields, and our support team is available to help throughout the process.
Standard data migrations are included in the $1,500 setup fee. This covers Excel/CSV imports and common membership platforms. Our team provides guidance, field mapping support, and validation assistance to ensure everything works correctly before going live.
Custom databases, legacy systems with unusual data structures, or imports of historical data (past transactions, event registrations, etc.) may need additional work. We'll discuss this during your demo and provide a clear quote if additional services are needed.
You won't need to hire consultants or external experts—our implementation support (included in your setup fee) walks you through the entire process with video tutorials, documentation, and direct support from our team.
Your members will notice improvements—better member portals, easier event registration, faster self-service access—but the transition will be seamless from their perspective.
Many organizations build their entire site in i4a using our drag-and-drop page builder, while others keep an existing WordPress site for public pages and use i4a for member portal content and database-connected pages. Our WordPress SSO plugin creates a unified login experience if you choose the hybrid approach.
Members will need to reset their passwords when switching to i4a. Passwords from your previous system are typically encrypted and cannot be imported. We make the password reset process simple and seamless for your members.
Yes, with some limitations. You can keep your existing Squarespace, Weebly, Wix, or other website for public pages while using i4a for membership management, event registration, and member-only content.
How it works:
- Your public website stays on Squarespace/Weebly/Wix (homepage, about, contact pages)
- Member-facing functions (login, renewals, event registration, member directory) are handled by i4a
- You link from your existing site to i4a pages for member actions
Important difference from WordPress: We offer a free SSO plugin for WordPress that creates a seamless single sign-on experience. For Squarespace, Weebly, and Wix, there's no equivalent plugin—members will have separate logins for your public site (if applicable) and the i4a member portal.
Many organizations find it simpler to build their entire site in i4a using our drag-and-drop page builder, but keeping your existing site is absolutely an option if you prefer.
The $1,500 setup fee includes 15 hours of onboarding support that covers both training and implementation:
- Online training sessions for your team via Zoom
- Implementation guidance for data import, system configuration, and going live
- Step-by-step onboarding wizards built into the platform to guide you through setup
Training topics typically include membership management, event registration, payment processing, email campaigns, website management, and reporting dashboards.
With the guided wizards and step-by-step onboarding process, 15 hours is typically more than enough to get you across the finish line.
After launch, you have free access to online tutorial videos and help documentation. Our U.S.-based support team is available via support tickets to answer questions (phone and email support available with premium support package). If you need additional hands-on training beyond your initial 15 hours, it's available at our standard support rate.
We offer personalized demos tailored to your organization's specific needs—showing exactly how i4a handles your membership types, dues structures, event models, and reporting requirements.
This is far more valuable than a generic trial where you're left to figure things out on your own. During the demo, you'll see real workflows, ask questions specific to your organization, and get immediate answers from our team.
We want you to feel completely confident before making a decision. Schedule a demo and we'll show you exactly how i4a would work for your organization.
Yes, an SSL/TLS certificate is required to secure your custom domain with HTTPS encryption. This encrypts data sent between your website and your members' browsers, protecting sensitive information like login credentials and payment details.
How it works:
- You'll purchase an SSL certificate from a certificate provider (typically $50-150/year)
- Use our SSL Certificate Wizard to generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR)
- Provide the CSR to your certificate provider
- Once issued, upload the certificate using our wizard
We provide step-by-step video tutorials showing you exactly how to generate your CSR and upload your certificate. Our support team is also available to guide you through the process.
Note: The SSL certificate is paid directly to the certificate provider (like Let's Encrypt, Sectigo, or DigiCert), not to i4a. This is a standard industry requirement for all secure websites.
Features & Capabilities
i4a supports multiple member types, organizational memberships with sub-users, tiered dues structures, proration, grace periods, auto-renewals, chapter affiliations, special interest groups, and custom membership categories.
We've been building membership software for nearly 30 years and can accommodate most membership structures. However, we can't support every possible configuration—extremely complex or highly customized membership models may require workarounds or may not be a good fit.
During your demo, we'll walk through exactly how i4a handles your membership requirements and honestly assess whether our platform can support your specific structure.
Yes. We designed i4a for membership organization professionals, not IT departments. Your membership coordinator can process renewals, your events coordinator can build registration forms, and your organization leader can pull reports—all without calling tech support.
That said, our U.S.-based support team is always available when you need guidance. We provide comprehensive training during onboarding and ongoing support throughout your entire relationship with us.
i4a is a web-based platform that works on any device with a browser—desktop, tablet, or smartphone. The member portal and all public-facing pages are fully responsive and mobile-friendly, so members can renew dues, register for events, update their profiles, and access resources from their phones.
There is no separate mobile app to download or maintain. This is intentional: web-based access means members always have the latest version, there's no app store approval process for updates, and you don't need to support multiple platforms (iOS, Android).
For most membership organizations, a responsive web portal provides everything members need on mobile without the overhead of a dedicated app.
Yes. i4a includes event registration and management for conferences, workshops, webinars, chapter meetings, and networking events.
Features include:
- Custom registration forms with tiered pricing (early bird, member, non-member)
- Upgrade options (meals, workshops, spouse registration, sponsorships)
- Payment collection with automatic revenue tracking
- Attendee badges and personalized itineraries
- Session tracking and CEU credit management
Note: i4a does not include built-in waitlist functionality. Some organizations create a separate "waitlist event" or use the Form Builder to collect waitlist signups as a workaround.
All event data integrates with your member records and accounting, so you have complete visibility into who registered, who paid, and how your event performed financially.
Yes. Every member gets access to a personalized member portal where they can:
- Update contact information and profile details
- Renew membership and pay dues online
- Register for events and view past event history
- Access member-only resources and documents
- View transaction history and invoices
- Update payment methods and billing information
- Download membership cards
This self-service capability dramatically reduces staff workload—members handle routine updates themselves, freeing your team to focus on engagement and strategic initiatives.
i4a includes real-time dashboards and reporting capabilities for membership metrics, revenue tracking, and event performance.
Available reporting includes:
- Membership growth and retention trends
- Revenue by member type, event, or product
- Renewal rates
- Event registration reporting
- Email campaign performance metrics
- Financial summaries for Board reporting
You can also use Report Builder to create custom reports by selecting data fields, applying filters, and exporting to Excel or CSV. Note that Report Builder requires selecting fields and criteria rather than drag-and-drop visual report design.
i4a includes a drag-and-drop page builder for creating both public website pages and member portal pages. You can build unlimited pages—from your homepage and about pages to member directories, benefit pages, event calendars, and resource libraries—all without coding.
Because the page builder integrates with your membership database, directories automatically update when members join or renew, and member-only content is automatically gated based on membership status.
Many organizations build their entire site in i4a, while others keep an existing WordPress site for public pages and use i4a for member portal content and database-connected pages. Our free WordPress SSO plugin creates a seamless login experience if you choose the hybrid approach.
Yes. i4a tracks changes to member records, including which staff member made the change and when. This is especially useful for organizations with multiple administrators who need accountability and the ability to review record history.
Integrations
Yes. i4a can export your membership dues, event registrations, product sales, and donations in a format compatible with Transaction Pro Importer for QuickBooks.
Transactions are automatically categorized by GL account, making month-end reconciliation simple. Revenue from different sources (membership vs. events vs. online store) is separated automatically based on your chart of accounts.
If you use a different accounting system, i4a maintains a complete audit trail of all transactions, allowing you to post summary journal entries to any accounting package. We can also discuss custom export options—i4a provides API access for connecting with other business tools.
i4a works with 8AM™ AffiniPay, a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor that specializes in serving associations and nonprofits with enterprise-grade encryption (256-bit SSL).
Users can make secure credit card or eCheck payments on your website—all tracked automatically in their member records and accounting system.
i4a includes integrated email marketing, so you won't need a separate tool like Mailchimp or Constant Contact. Our email builder includes templates, segmentation, analytics, and unlimited sends—no per-email fees.
For websites, i4a includes a built-in website builder, but you can also use i4a with an existing WordPress site using our free WordPress SSO plugin. This allows members to log in through WordPress while their data stays synchronized with i4a.
We also provide API access for custom integrations with other marketing tools, CRMs, or business systems your association uses.
Yes. i4a provides REST API access for connecting with third-party tools, custom applications, or business systems specific to your industry.
Common API use cases include syncing with industry-specific certification systems, connecting to learning management systems (LMS), integrating with advocacy platforms, or building custom member portals. Our team can discuss API capabilities and documentation during your demo.
Yes. i4a includes a full email marketing system with unlimited sends, templates, scheduling, and tracking. You can create targeted campaigns based on member data, schedule automated renewal reminders, and track opens, clicks, and bounces.
Most clients find they no longer need a separate email service—and save money by eliminating that subscription. Learn more about email marketing

Security & Compliance
Your member data is protected by enterprise-grade security infrastructure. Our network uses dual active/passive firewalls with automatic failover, database servers that are completely isolated from internet access, and encrypted passwords at rest. We don't store payment information in your database—all transactions are processed through PCI DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateways.
Physical security: Tier-1 colocation facility with biometric access controls, 24/7 surveillance, and bulletproof glass security checkpoints. Our infrastructure has complete physical redundancy—dual firewalls, switches, power sources, and ISPs—with solid-state drives monitored remotely.
Data protection: Database backups every 4 hours, uploaded files backed up daily. Unlike networks with employee workstations vulnerable to phishing and malware, our network has no workstations—eliminating the most common security vulnerabilities. All servers run continuously updated open-source software (Apache, Ubuntu Linux, MariaDB) with firewall rules allowing only necessary protocols. Your data belongs to you—we never sell, share, or mine your member data for any purpose.
We perform automatic backups of your database and content every 4 hours, with daily backups of uploaded documents and files. If something goes wrong, we can restore your data quickly.
We also maintain a 99.9% uptime guarantee with redundant servers and automatic failover.
i4a is fully cloud-based (Software as a Service). You access it through your web browser—no software to install, no servers to maintain, no IT infrastructure to manage.
This means:
- Server and software security patches and updates are handled by us
- Access from anywhere—office, home, mobile devices
- No need for in-house IT support or server maintenance
- Guaranteed uptime and professional data center hosting
- Automatic backups and disaster recovery
You do. Your member data, transaction records, and all information in i4a belongs to your organization—not to us.
You can export certain data (member lists, transaction records, event registrations, and more) in standard formats (CSV, Excel) at any time directly from the platform using Report Builder. If you decide to leave i4a, we'll provide a complete SQL database backup. We don't hold your data hostage—it's yours, and you can take it with you.
